Can I sync my Hookhub calendar with multiple other calendars? [Desktop]

Hookhub supports iCal synchronization, a standard format used by many booking websites, any booking platforms that support the iCal format (like Airbnb, VRBO, and Google Calendar) and with specialized hospitality management channel managers (like Cloudbeds, Resnexus, and Checkfront). To sync, you go to your Hookhub External Calendar, add a calendar, paste the export link from the other platform, and save it, allowing for two-way sync after a few hours. By syncing your calendar, bookings made on one platform will automatically be reflected on the other, helping you keep your availability up to date and avoid double bookings. If you are hosting on other platforms, it's important that your calendars are properly synced. When set up correctly, Hookhub will always sync your calendar the moment before a new Hookhub booking is placed, ensuring a double booking does not occur.

*NOTE! You don't have to import and export the link. If you do both, that will ensure both your calendars are synced.

In order to ensure your calendar is being synchronized in the most up to date state, you can only use this feature on a Live listing. Calendars cannot be synchronized if your listing is in a Paused or Draft status.

Below are guides for specific platforms. If your desired platform is not listed below, you can still sync your calendar! Just refer to the instructions below.

Calendar synchronization tools are only available on Live listings and cannot be edited if your listing is Paused or Inactive.

1. Navigate to your 'My Host Dashboard' and select 'Calendar'. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and you will find 'External Calendars'.

2. Select '+ Add Calendar'

3. If you would like your Hookhub Bookings to show on another platform, copy the EXPORT LINK and paste the copied url into the relevant field on the other platform you wish to sync with.

4. If you would like Bookings to show from another platform on your Hookhub calendar (here), then find the export URL on the other platform, copy the URL from the other platform, and paste it into the IMPORT LINK field on Hookhub.

5. ** NOTE! It may take a few hours for the initial sync to activate; check back on the status later to ensure it has completed successfully.
